As part of their English work, the children have been designing and creating, disgusting sandwiches to stop the seagulls stealing Mr Grinling's lunch.

Posted on: 15 Jun 2023Science JamboreeOn Friday 15th June the Year 6 children were invited to take place in a Science Jamboree at Pfizer in Sandwich. The children learnt about all the different careers in Science, including Space Travel, engineering and the environmental sciences.
Posted on: 14 Jun 2023Year 3 Environment Centre VisitOn Wednesday 14 June, the Year 3 children visited the Singleton Environment center in Ashford. They enjoyed lots of activities including: -classified flowering plants - did you know there are over 300,000 species! They didn't classify that many! -went on a scavenger hunt -planted plants and decorated their own plant pots -drew plant inspired artwork with pavement chalks -looked at seasonal produce in the allotments -created their own pollinators using different insect attributes.

Posted on: 2 Jun 2023Ready, Aim, Fire!As part of their topic on castles this term, KS1 made catapults during their design technology lessons. They followed a plan, measured wood, cut it to length and attached the pieces with glue. They then tested the catapults with different weight items.
