Year 5- Otters and Frogs

In Year 5, we have been lucky enough to welcome back Mr Royston to continue teaching us how to play the trumpet. We recapped how to hold our trumpet; how to read music and now have started to learn how to play 'We Will Rock You' by Queen! We can't wait to learn the whole song and perform together.

 

Year 5 have had a fantastic start to the school year and have settled in incredibly well. We have started reading our class text 'Winter of the Wolves' by Tony Bradman, and are already hooked! In our History lessons, we have begun to learn about where the Anglo-Saxons originated from, and where they settled in Great Britain. We have also got stuck straight into revising our multiplication facts using TT Rock Stars and other fun techniques.
