Over the summer, there will be daily high-quality maths challenges for primary school children available using this weblink: https://nrich.maths.org/14283 They will cover a variety of maths skills and will certainly help to keep your child occupied during the long holiday. They are often quite challenging, so be prepared to roll up your sleeves and help out if needed! 

As part of the Queen's Jubilee celebrations, school, clubs and organisations planted a tree as part of the 'Queen's Green Canopy'.    The White Cliffs Primary school Eco Warriors members of the gardening club made a planter out of recycled materials. The children across the school have been learning about the different decades the Queen has been on the throne as part of our Platinum Jubilee celebrations.  Each Year group has learnt about a different decade and celebrated the music, art and culture.  Year 6- 1950s Year 5- 1960s Year 4- 1970s Year 3- 1980s Year 2- 1990s Year 1- 2000s Reception- 2010s Nursery- Present day We have made a video to celebrate all the amazing work.   

Well done to everyone who entered the St James Jubilee Art Competition. Out of the hundreds of entries across all of the primary schools in Dover, 12 finalists have been chosen. The Fantastic Fred vehicle has arrived at White Cliffs! The mobile classroom is visiting the school today and tomorrow. Well done to all the children who entered the River Gardeners art competition. The quality of the art was fantastic and many of the children received an award.
