Year 3/4 have been studying rocks this week and looking at their properties. We carried out three experiments to test them for durability, permeability and density. 

In Year 3 we have been classifying and sorting rocks according to their properties. We also had a chance to explore a range of rocks, discussing their textures and properties. 

Our Christmas Raffle tickets are now on sale! £1 for a strip (5 tickets).   If you would like to purchase any tickets, please send the money in with your child in a sealed envelope, marked with 'Raffle' and your child's name and class written on the front.

Odd Socks Day 2021   To launch Anti-Bullying Week we all wore our odd socks into school to celebrate everyone differences. Remembrance Day 2021   Thank you to all the parents and children who created Poppies. The School Hall was full of poppies and the children were proud to be part of such a important moment. Every class within the school made a wreath and laid it at the base of our memorial. Then at 11am the whole school fell silent as we remembered those who had fought and sacrificed for us all.  Please look at the school Facebook page for more photos and videos.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge heartfelt thank you to all our amazing families for your continued support and generosity. We were blown away with all your donations for our Harvest Festival. Dover Food Bank will be the recipient of all your contributions, and they will ensure that the food will go to supporting people in crisis.    The children from 3A led our virtual Harvest Festival in the morning.
