Year 2 enjoyed an exciting lesson about the Great Fire of London. They discovered what fire looks like, experienced its smoky smell, and felt the heat it gives off from a safe distance. This hands-on experience helped the children imagine what life was like in London in 1666 and brought their history learning to life! They even got to enjoy some toasted marshmallows!
